Game 1
Miami(102) vs Atlanta(98)
A good win... Wade killed it with 28 points and Haslem was solid with 13 boards... i love how people under-rate him, he is a championship winning power forward... Magloire was the biggest surprise packet with 14 points off the bench. Oden was solid but not spectacular, but nearly had a double double in 27 minutes, not bad... I think we struggled a fair bit at Pg, i may need to look at some options there... Overall a solid win with room for improvement. Signing out. Pat Riley

Game 2Miami(98) vs Memphis(90)A solid win, without being spectacular, but a game we should win. We have yet to be really tested and stretched by a contending team. Oden and Haslem upfront, once again are the pillars of our team, both with double doubles and solid defence. Qrich solid as always and Wade - are these the stats of an MVP candidate? 25points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and all with 1 turnover... The heart of a champion Good win crew, keep steppin it up! Signing out. Pat Riley

Game 3
Miami (75) vs Boston (100)
Wow a 'thud' back to reality... Our bigs were dominated down low by KG and Perkins, our shooting percentages were terrible and our bench had very little production. We knew boston would test us, but not thrash us! This game was lost in the very first quarter; we are now wondering whether Alston controls things a little better than Chalmers. I think we will give Chalmers one more game to work it out, but maybe he just isnt ready yet. The positive note for us was the steady play of Qrich and of course, D Wade, but is blatantly obvious Bostons defence was the difference in this game. Signing Out. Pat Riley

Game 4
Miami (87) vs Lakers (103)
Another tough game, but this time against the reigning champs. It appears, once again, we lost the game in the first quarter and the third. Im thinking Alston needs to set the offence up first and then have Chalmers burst off the bench and take over. Overall we only lost by 16, but we did play poorly, our bigs were dominated down low and shooting percentages were appauling compared to our rivals. We need to step it up or make some serious adjustments, immediately. Signing Out. Pat Riley

Game 5
Miami(82) vs San Antonio(95)
A solid game overall, but we lost it in the third quarter. We were leading by 2 at half time, but lost the third by 14. We could have won this game with consistency. Wade had an amazing game with 38 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Our bigs had a great game as well, both with double doubles, Haslem had an amazing 16 rebounds but wasnt enough to contain TD. Once again our role players need to step up to the mark and start producing for our team to make the playoffs. Come on team, lets do this! Signing out. Pat Riley

Game 6
Miami(89) vs Cleveland(90)
Another loss, by only 1 point though. But did we deserve to win this game? The answer is definitively No! We were beaten across the board. Our bigs held their own, but shaq and lebron absolutely dominated them. We simply didnt have a defensive answer for lebron, but hey what team does. We were down by 14 at half time and we tried our best to make a spirited come back, but we can do better than that. Hopefully with our impending changes our team can step it up. Wade was fantastic again, with 30 points (Game high), 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Oden once again had a double double with 11points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. A great start to the year for the bigman. The heat really need its role players and supporting cast to step it up and be counted, for us to make the playoffs. Lets make it happen team! Signing out. Game 7
Miami(83) vs Portland(100)
Another big time loss... Wade was our only shining light out of this one.. 31 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, 1 block. Camby played pretty well for an old guy, dominating the paint tonight and dominating our big guys. Portland has a great young core with some solid veteran presence. We may need to make some changes to keep up with the top teams in our division. Wade needs help, he cant do it all alone. The most telling stat in tonights game was shooting percentage. Our team stuggled to hit 40%, where as portland nailed 50% of their shots. Is this a problem with our defence or offence? I say potentially both... We need to work through these issues quickly, gel as a team and move forward together if we want to stay out of the relegation zone for next year... Signing Out. Pat Riley
