Glen Grunwald: Hello And thank you for coming to the Montreal Jets Press Conference. With an Expansion team you never know what your going to get yourself into but I think we have a great team here that can go out there every night and make the Montreal fans happy. With that said today I have called this press conference to show you guys the new logo for the Montreal jets and also to name the new head coach of the Jets. Right now i would like to show you guys the new logo for the Montreal Jets: Grunwald: I hope that everyone loves the new logo as much as I do it took alot of minds to put that logo together and I love what we came up with. Right now I would like to welcome the new head coach of the Montreal Jets John Calipari. I thought there was only one man right for this job I talked to a lot of coaches and I was really happy what Calipari bought to this team. John Calipari: Thank you Grunwald for giving me this shot at being the head coach of the Montreal Jets coaching in the NBA is a dream of mine and for Grunwald to give me a shot like this i'm really happy about it. We have a great team that we can work with here and I can't wait to get it started I think we will surprise a lot of teams with the team we have. Grunwald: thank you Calipari we will now open the floor up to the media for any questions they may have for myself or Mr.Calipari

Mr. Grunwald do you believe this team has the potential to jump to Elite Division or will this team need another year in Division 2?

Mr. Grunwald, how do you plan to build your team.
Are you planning to make a run right now, or gather assets over 2-3 years before you make the run to D1.

What does Calipari think about the opportunity to coach Wall or Cousins for longer?

Nice logo and solid coaching acquisition. Looking forward to competing with you this year in Division Two. Best of luck, though be careful not to win too many. Word is Coach Cal may like to see a familiar PG in the black and blue next year.

Mr.Grunwald: I really do believe with the team we have right now that we are ready to potential jump to the Elite Division but I would like to spent another year in Division 2 to build on what we have with this team.

Mr. Grunwald, how do you plan to build your team. Are you planning to make a run right now, or gather assets over 2-3 years before you make the run to D1. Mr.Grunwald: I plan on building this team with core players a mix of young and old and thats what I think we have right now I know we don't really have a great named player but the players we do have will come out night after night to win. Right now the plan is to see how things work out Myself and Mr.Calipari have a 10 game plan we will look at what the past 10 games where like then see what we have to fix from there.

What does Calipari think about the opportunity to coach Wall or Cousins for longer? Mr.Calipari: Right now i'm looking at this team thinking we are going to do great things if Wall or Cousins are in the plans I would love the opportunity to coach them once again and I know that it would be great to add one of them to this team it would just make this team better.
