NBA Live 06 is the most realistic in terms of statistics and performance, atleast the way I've customized it anyway. It's also easily modified, which comes in handy with things like the expansion draft.

Unless someone can suggest a better sim engine? Maybe I'll buy NBA Live 11 when it comes out, or did the 2k series start producing for PC?

NBA Live 11 won't be probably on the PC again, while 2k10 (and probably 2k11) is on the PC. 2k10 is a great game, but I'm not sure about its customizability. But I do know that 2k10 had this blog kind of thingy, where you could do something like this: community.2ksports.com/community/user/blogs.cfm?blogid=473238
